Dan Generosa, Esq., MCP - Principal

One of the founders of Lexpath, Dan returned to his true calling in the legal technology field after leaving the practice of law where he was an associate at a large Long Island firm. With over fifteen years experience, Dan's expertise includes all aspects of Windows Networking, Virtualization Technologies, Exchange Server, LAN/WAN integration and Internet security.  As a former litigator, Dan knows and has experienced first hand the trials and travails attendant with the practice of law.  Drawing on this experience, he built Lexpath from the ground up to service the unique technology needs of Law Firms and Legal related enterprises. In addition, he has regularly presented on legal technology issues to bar associations and trade groups. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Small Business Specialist. A graduate of Hofstra Law School, Dan earned a BA from Fairfield Unversity in Connecticut and attended Chaminade High School in Mineola.  Dan resides in Long Island with his wife and four children and enjoys sailing, golf and playing with new gadgets.

William E. Dertinger, Esq. - Principal

The other founder of Lexpath, Bill is an attorney with over a decade of experience as a specialist in computer and Internet technology with a focus on project management, database design and computer network systems architecture. The 2006 Technolawyer Legal Technology Consultant of the Year, he is certified by over 15 companies in their software and hardware solutions. Aside from practicing law, he was formerly an adjunct professor in the CUNY system. He has regularly presented on legal technology for the New York County Lawyers Association and has written for the Richmond County Bar Association Newsletter. Bill is a member of the State Bar of New York and the Richmond County Bar Association. He has a JD from Brooklyn Law School; a BA from The Catholic University of America and attended Regis and Xavier High School. He played Rugby at Catholic and for the New York Athletic Club and continues to play basketball in the JCC Men's League.

Steven Campanaro, Esq. - Director of Consulting Services

Steve joined Lexpath while still practicing law which gave him a very practical understanding of what matters most to law firms. He holds multiple industry certifications in the Legal Application and Practice Management arena.  His dedication and attention to detail has allowed him to head many of our larger projects. He has a JD from Brooklyn Law School and graduated cum laude with a BA from Fordham University. Steve is a member of the State Bar of New York and both the New York County and Westchester County Bar Association.

Ari Mckenzie, MCP- Chief Technology Officer

With ten years of IT experience in the legal technology arena, Ari is both an application consultant and manages Lexpath's internal network operations. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and is also certified in Worldox, Time Matters, and Timeslips among other legal specific applications. He has a BS in Legal studies that aids him in understanding the unique needs and dynamics of a law firm. Ari is the team lead for delivery of client services and our lead project manager.

Rita Parelli - Director of Financial Services

Rita brings a wealth of experience in the financial realm after having previously worked at Goldman Sachs for seven years. Additionally, she became a real estate agent in 2004. Her responsibilities include AR, AP and financial planning.
